The University of Évora is a public Portuguese University founded in 1559 and organized in 4 Schools: Arts, Sciences and Technology, Social Sciences and Nursing and offers 41 undergraduate and 120 postgraduate degrees. Research and Development (R&D) covers several scientific areas through a network of 14 Research Units, all of them submitted to international evaluation, under the coordination of the Institute for Research and Advanced Studies. The University of Danang (UD) is the biggest university in the central region of Vietnam.

UD is now a key national university, a major centre of training, scientific research and technology transfer of Vietnam. UD currently has about 60,000 students (included 4,000 graduates) and 2,472 faculties, researchers and staffs. UD, which is one of the Technical Universities partners, has joined Higher Engineering Education Alliance Program (HEEAP). The program enables students in Vietnam to gain hands-on experience with the software and services that engineers around the world rely on, including proprietary software, hardware, design and verification IP, memory models, methodologies, and design services that are used to create the integrated circuits and silicon chips found inside most electronic devices.

In the recent years, University of Danang has constantly improved internal quality assurance system, continuously updated and modernized programs as well as innovated student assessment and teaching-learning approach. University of Technology and Education (UTE-UD) is a member of the University of Danang. The UTE-UD currently has 250 lecturers, training for 5,000 students in 17 majors in engineering such as mechanical engineering, mechatronics, robotics technology, information technology.

Since its establishment in 1957, Hue University (HU) has been recognized as a key academic and scientific research hub for central Vietnam and the whole country. By training competent people

and providing qualified human resources to the processes of industrialization and modernization in Vietnam, HU has succeeded in building its position as a prestigious institution in Vietnamese higher education system.

Currently, HU has 8 member universities (Sciences, Education, Medicine, Agriculture & Forestry, Economics, Foreign Languages, Arts, Law) and 2 schools (Tourism, and Physical Education) under the its umbrella. HU also has national key applied science institutes and centers.

HU has approximately 50,000 students (including 200 gifted high school, 500 Junior college, 42,000 Undergraduate, 4,000 Master’s, 350 PhD and more than 200 international students). Currently, the total number of staff population is more than 3,800 people, including more than 250 Professors and Associate Professors, 450 PhDs, 1,200 Masters, 1800 Bachelors and others.

In the domestic academic circle, Hue University is a pioneer in promoting international academic exchanges.

SVAY RIENG UNIVERSITY (SRU) is a top-tier educational institution in the southeast corner of Cambodia, established to contribute to knowledge, capacity development and leadership in provincial Cambodia via nationally and internationally recognized curriculum and programming. SRU offers high quality education and human resource development, with special interest in providing the same or higher caliber of education available in Cambodia’s capital to students in a rural setting.

SRU is fully accredited by Accreditation of Cambodia Committee (ACC) for the Foundation Year Studies programs, and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport regularly assesses the quality of curriculum and the institution overall. SRU has approximately 200 staffs, almost 6,000 graduated and around 4,000 current enrollments. SRU has five facilities include: (1) faculty of arts, humanity and foreign languages (2) faculty of business administration (3) faculty of agriculture (4) faculty of science and technology (5) faculty of social sciences.

SRU partners with local university, industries, and organizations. Internationally SRU has partnered with some university in China, Europe, and the ASEAN countries. These partnerships allow staff and students the opportunity to study overseas, so far, our faculty members have studied in Australia, Romania, and Viet Nam while students have continued their studies in China, and other countries in Europe and ASEAN.
