The University of Danang (UD) is the biggest university in the central region of Vietnam.
UD is now a key national university, a major centre of training, scientific research and technology transfer of Vietnam. UD currently has about 60,000 students (included 4,000 graduates) and 2,472 faculties, researchers and staffs. UD, which is one of the Technical Universities partners, has joined Higher Engineering Education Alliance Program (HEEAP). The program enables students in Vietnam to gain hands-on experience with the software and services that engineers around the world rely on, including proprietary software, hardware, design and verification IP, memory models, methodologies, and design services that are used to create the integrated circuits and silicon chips found inside most electronic devices.
In the recent years, University of Danang has constantly improved internal quality assurance system, continuously updated and modernized programs as well as innovated student assessment and teaching-learning approach. With the core values of Quality- Devotion- Professional and Effectiveness- Creation and Friendliness, University of Danang aims to be one of the leading universities in Southeast Asia, offering a wide range of majors in the fields of engineering, economics, natural sciences, social sciences, humanities and medicine. University of Danang targets to be a national and international center for collaborative research and development.
University of Technology and Education (UTE-UD) is a member of the University of Danang. The UTE-UD currently has 250 lecturers, training for 5,000 students in 17 majors in engineering such as mechanical engineering, mechatronics, robotics technology, information technology.
